Bangus





(Chanos Chanos)

Chanos Chanos is the scientific name of the bangus or milkfish. This is our national fish.
The bangus (milkfish), milkfish, Chanos Chanos or a type of bony fish or seedy but edible. An important food fish, which came from South-East Asia. This is the only one living in family type Chanidae. It is said there are seven types belonging to five more diversified lost to the world.

The Philippine Tarsier (Tarsius syrichta or Carlito syrichta), known locally as the Maumagin Cebuano/Visayan and Mamag in Luzon, is an endangered species of tarsier endemic to the Philippines. It is found in the southeastern part of the archipelago, particularly in the islands of Bohol Island, Samar Island, Leyte Island and Mindanao. It is a member of the approximately 45 million year old family Tarsiidae, whose name is derived from its elongated "tarsus" or ankle bone.

Monkey








The "Monkeys" scientific name is Catrol Vancliechin


There are many species of monkey worldwide.
Macaca fascicularis (macaque) is only one of them. Others are Chlorocebus aethiops (vervet monkey) , Mandrillus sphinx (mandrill) , Papio cynocephalus, Papio anubis (2 baboon species) and the critically endangered and brighly coloured Brazilian Leontopithecus rosalia . The latter is the name of the Golden Lion.

Carabao






A carabao is a type of water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis). Its scientific name is Bubalus Bubalis Carabanesis.
Carabao is the National Animal of the Philippines.

Pig









Sus scrofa domestica.


pig is any of the animals in the genus Sus, within the Suidae family of even-toed ungulates. Pigs include the domestic pig, its ancestor the wild boar, and several other wild relatives. Pigs are omnivores and are highly social and intelligent animals.

Eagle








Any of various large diurnal birds of prey of the family Accipitridae, including members of the genera Aquila and Haliaeetus, characterized by a powerful hooked bill, keen vision, long broad wings, and strong soaring flight.



Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi) foremerly known as the Monkey-eating eagle, one of the largest and most powerful birds in the world. based on reports from natives that it preyed exclusively on monkeys (hence its generic name, from the Greek word - pithecus ("ape or monkey") and phagus ("eater (of)")

It was named after Jeffery Whitehead, father of English explorer and naturalist John Whitehead, who collected the original specimen upon discovery in 1896.

Tuko (Gecko)

The Tuko (English: Gecko) is only one type of lizard living in a tree.
Gecko belongs to the endangered species. A study said that they've found out that Gecko can cure various diseases like skin disease, asthma,  and can even increase stamina for men as well as an effective medicine against cancer and tumor. Gecko can be found in warm places and in the forest where they usually inhabit, they can also be found in urban area but this is rare. Lets help to save the life of Gecko for our earth and mother nature.
